Limited services for Civil Status Acts Registration (CSAR) will be expanded starting from 17 April

Attaching importance to the need to provide services in the civil status acts registration sector (CSAR) during the state of emergency, the services limited by the Ministry of Justice will be expanded starting from 17 April 2020 with the following scope:

in the city of Yerevan:

Reception office located at 3/8 Vazgen Sargsyan Street 10:00-16:00, on working days, without a break. 

1.     provision of CSAR certificates and statements of information;

2.     acceptance of applications for certification of documents with apostille;

3.     state registration of births.

Reception office located at 3 Zakyan Street – 10:00-16:00, on working days, without a break.

1.     acceptance and registration of applications for state registration of marriages;

2.     acceptance and registration of applications for state registration of divorces;

in building #6/1, Erebuni Street 10:00-14:00, every day, without a break.

1.     State registration of death.

The CSAR territorial bodies in the city of Yerevan will exclusively carry out registrations of marriages and divorces, the applications for which had been submitted before the state of emergency was established. No new application will be accepted. Reception hours for citizens will be from 10:00 to 13:00.

1.     state registration of marriages;

2.     state registration of divorces;

Services of the CSAR territorial bodies in the marzes will be provided from 10:00 to 13:00 on working days, with the following scope:

1.     provision of CSAR certificates and statements of information;

2.     acceptance and registration of applications for state registration of marriages;

3.     acceptance and registration of applications for state registration of divorces;

4.     state registration of births;

5.     state registration of death;

For the purpose of ruling out the undue movement of citizens, CSAR certificates and statements of information will be provided within 20 minutes after the application has been entered.

  • state duty for receiving a duplicate of a CSAR certificate makes up AMD 3.000;
  • state duty for receiving a CSAR statement of information makes up AMD 2.000;
  • state duty for state registration of marriage makes up AMD 1.000;
  • state duty for state registration of divorce makes up AMD 10.000;
  • state duty for state registration for determining paternity makes up AMD 1.000;

registrations of birth and death are free of charge.

Payments other than the mentioned state duties are not prescribed by the legislation for CSAR territorial bodies.
