Today, Acting Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan, along with Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia, Colonel of Justice Hakob Hakobyan, toured the Aragatsotn Marz Division of the Compulsory Enforcement Service following capital renovation of the building.

The event was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Artur Hovhannisyan, Marzpet (Regional Governor) of Aragatsotn Marz Davit Gevorgyan, Mayor of Ashtarak Tovmas Shahverdyan, Chairperson of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Aragatsotn Marz Artur Margaryan, Judges of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Aragatsotn Marz Goharik Khachatryan, Suren Mnoyan, Manuk Margaryan, as well as the administration of the Compulsory Enforcement Service.

Artak Zeynalyan noted that the Aragatsotn Marz Division of the Service had been entirely renovated, and this certainly contributes to the proper provision of all services to citizens: "The right to a fair trial will lose its meaning, if judicial acts are not executed properly, on time and completely, and provision of these conditions is aimed at ensuring that right."

The Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia emphasised that improvement of the building and property conditions was necessary for more efficient organisation of daily activities and that working in such conditions would serve as an impetus for performing official duties at a high level.

Within the scope of the visit, the Acting Minister of Justice also met with the administrators of the Marz Division of the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice and the territorial body of the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency — stationed in the building — and got acquainted with the working conditions and problems.

After the tour, Hakob Hakobyan held a working consultation with the administration of the Compulsory Enforcement Service and the employees of the Aragatsotn Marz Division. The Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer was reported on the activities performed by the Division; afterwards, the employees answered the questions addressed to them. During the discussion, issues related to individual enforcement proceedings were also identified, and the head of the institution gave specific instructions related to those issues.
