Announcement on record-registration of bankruptcy administrators

The Ministry of Justice, accepting as a basis on parts 7-9 of Article 72 of Law
HO-294-N of 12 December 2019 “On making amendments and supplements to the Law “On bankruptcy”” and Order of the Minister of Justice No 108-N of 12 March 2020, will carry out record-registration of bankruptcy administrators until 10 April 2020.

For the purpose of record-registration, the administrators, guided by point 2 of part 3 of Order of the Minister of Justice No 108-N of 12 March 2020, must submit the following information to naira.sedrakyan@justice.am by 1 April 2020:

1.     on the service area or areas (marz (province) or marzes (provinces) of the Republic of Armenia, city of Yerevan) in which they want to carry out their activities, otherwise, the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia will be considered as a service area;

2.     on the number of current (incomplete) bankruptcy cases conducted by them as on the day of submitting the information.

The Ministry of Justice will also record-register administrators who have been engaged in the activities of administrator (have had such authorisation) prior to entry into force of Law HO-294-N of 12 December 2019 “On making amendments and supplements to the Law “On bankruptcy””, but have attained the age of 63. For the purpose of
record-registration, such persons shall, in addition to the above-mentioned information, submit written information to the Ministry of Justice on the time limit for authorisation to continue their activities until 1 April 2020, by attaching the relevant evidence.

We would also like to inform that those who have received the certificate of qualification of administrator after taking a qualification test in 2019 may be
record-registered by the Ministry of Justice only after joining a self-regulatory organisation.
