22/05/2019

These days, parents of children entitled to attend the first grade are submitting the required documents to relevant educational institutions, and the list of those documents is established through the procedure approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. However, the government agency has received alarms that some schools require that parents provide additional personal information not defined by the above-mentioned procedure. Let us remind that the following documents defined by the Ministry of Education and Science need to be submitted for admission of first grade pupils:

  • Application addressed to the director;
  • Statement of information on being record-registered in the State Population Register;
  • Original and copy of birth certificate;
  • 2 photos of 3*4 size;
  • Statement of information on issuance of a public service number to the child;
  • Certificate "On the need for special conditions for education", issued by the state body of territorial administration for admission of a pupil with the need for special conditions for education to a special school (if available).

In case of requiring other documents that are not included in the list, additional personal information on the child or parent, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Agency for consultation by calling 010 594 193, 010 594 195 or writing on the Facebook page of the Agency.
