Announcement on activities of the service offices of the Ministry of Justice

Based on Decision of the Commandant of the Republic of Armenia No 15 of 24 March 2020, the service offices under the subordination of the Ministry of Justice will not operate from 25 to 31 March 2020.

At the same time, attaching importance to the need to respond to the urgent needs of citizens, we publish the current telephone numbers, websites and e-mail addresses of the Ministry of Justice according to sectors.

1.     Sector of registration of civil status acts    

The Ministry of Justice restricts the provision of services for registration of civil status acts, leaving exclusively primary services such as registration of the birth of a child and state registration of death.

Throughout this week, there will be state registration of births and deaths as primary services every day at the following service centre in the city of Yerevan, starting from 10:00 to 18:00:

(1)    Reception located at 3/8 Vazgen Sargsyan;

Applications for other registrations or for providing duplicates of certificates or statements of information will not be accepted.

The bodies of Civil Status Acts Registration of all marzes will work from 10:00 to 14:00 and will only carry out registration of birth and state registration of death.

The registrations that were planned to be carried out on the basis of all submitted applications will be carried out after the restrictions are lifted.

The official e-mail address of the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency of the Ministry of Justice (qkag@moj.am) is also running, and applications for non-primary civil status acts (marriage, divorce, adoption or name change) can be sent to the e-mail address; these non-primary civil status acts will be registered after the restrictions set under the regime of state of emergency are lifted.

Alongside this, the following telephone numbers of the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency will also be available: 010 594161 and 010 594172.

2.     Agency for State Register of Legal Entities

You can receive information about the services provided by the Agency for State Register of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia by sending the relevant request/letters to the official e-mail address of the Agency (info@e-register.am) and by calling the following contact phone number: +37494974279.

We would also like to remind that all the official documents submitted to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the documents submitted by citizens and legal entities must be sent electronically to info@moj.am, and citizens and legal entities may also take advantage of the opportunities of the Unified Portal for Online Requests ( https://e-request.am/hy/).

3.     Compulsory Enforcement Service

Due to the restrictions set by the Commandant, the hotline of the Compulsory Enforcement Service (060 570-435) will be available for citizens, and applications, complaints, requests and other documents addressed to the Service may be sent exclusively through the Unified Portal for Online Requests (www.e-request.am).

4.     Activities of notary offices

To serve citizens in the cases when it is strictly necessary and urgent, the data on the notary carrying out activities on that day will be posted on the website of the Notary Chamber every day.
