A unified office providing state services now accessible to citizens of Gyumri

13/12/2016

On 13 December, a unified office providing state services was opened in Gyumri during an event held with the participation of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan. From now on, citizens of Gyumri will be able to receive about thirty state services from a single operator operating at the "Haypost" office as well (address: 5 Rizhkov).

This series of reforms launched upon the instruction of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia will be ongoing. Unified offices will be established in the rural communities of all the marzes, making state services more accessible to citizens of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the Minister, the programme is aimed at alleviating the burden of citizens and sparing them the inconvenience of travelling to the capital or to the marz centre to obtain a document from a state body. Arpine Hovhannisyan drew the attention of the attendees to the fact that a seal approved by the Ministry of Justice specifically for all unified offices providing state services would be placed on the documents provided by the unified offices.

Let us remind that unified state services are also provided by the offices of "Haypost" (address: 21 Nalbandyan Street), "Ardshinbank" (address: 24 Tigran Mets Street), "Ameriabank" (address: 6 Deghatan Street) and "Converse Bank" (address: 4/6 Kajaznuni Street) in Yerevan, as well as the "Haypost" office in the Garni community.

The unified offices will provide services relating to a number of functions of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, as well as for the provision of statements of information on state registration of rights over immovable property, registration of legal persons, criminal record and registration of civil status acts.
